I'm binan asli booo... turut memerdekakan suara binan ... I'm gay and proud. Let's march around the street with this flag eitzzz stamp maksudnya.
I'm a dumb white guy, I grew up in a really small, conservative town. I was exposed to a lot of dumb ideas, racism, homophobia, etc. It might have stuck if I was just like everyone else.
But being gay, it was only a matter of time before I began questioning the way I was being brought up. I couldn't NOT question it, because here are all these people saying gays are all evil child molestors, and here I am knowing I'm gay and knowing I'm not that bad of a person.
There was a real disconnect between reality and what people in my little podunk town believed in.
And that led the way to questioning more things, like racism and sexism. And, eventually, religion.
Anyway sorry for the long story, but yeah, being born as something unique (or at least less common) is a great thing, despite the challenges and the dumbass bigots.
